Construction support
Rhode Island & Southeastern Massachusetts
Overview:
Catalano Construction, Inc. an established Site Excavation & Utility Contractor seeks highly motivated individual for a Construction Support position based in our Cumberland, Rhode Island office to support projects across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to project teams in the field, per direction of General Superintendent or Project Managers
Delivery of materials to project sites, home office
Movement of small equipment by trailer to/from project sites, home office
Responsible for upkeep of all truck and equipment maintenance records
Responsible for scheduling on and off-site truck and equipment repairs
Responsible for company stock yard, keeping equipment & stored materials organized and job ready
Coordinate with suppliers for fuel, lubricants, and filter deliveries
Snow plowing and shoveling at office during snow events
Required Skills:
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of industry safety standards
Valid Driver’s License & Clean driving record (A formal driving record inquiry is part of the pre-employment process)
Medical Examiner's Certificate for Commercial driving (if not held, ability to obtain)
Forklift License (if not held, ability to maintain)
OSHA 10 Card (preferred)
Ability to pass a background check for clearance to government & state projects
A formal driving record inquiry is part of the pre-employment process
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Compensation:
Hourly, based on experience
